ANSWERS TO OBJECTIONS ABOUT ENTERING THIS MARKET
Before I get started, and so as not to waste your time if you’re just curious or skeptical about working with a community that does not speak English, allow me to address some common objections.
You Don’t Speak Spanish -- no big deal
In my introduction I discussed the possibility that you don’t speak Spanish. Neither do I, at least, now, not well, and certainly not fluently. It doesn’t matter. Again, you hire bilingual employees. Done. Hispanics are 100% fine with having someone translate. Really. Done. Over. Not an issue or concern, at all.
I run television commercials and ask people what their dreams are. I explain that I want to try to help, but, I can’t give them money or help with any immigration problem. I direct them to my Spanish language website, where they fill out a form and I then get an email.
To date, I have helped a man become a chef, I’ve arranged for about five families to buy a home, I’ve assisted a family in getting a scholarship for their child’s college, and I’ve assisted a family who wanted to go to Disney in Florida. I did these things by calling a chef friend of mine, a realtor friend of mine, an organization that provides grants and aid for eligible college bound students, and a travel agent who has occasional promotional giveaways.
When individuals go and fill out the form, their email information and telephone numbers must be provided, and then, they are captured in my Infusionsoft contacts database. In case you don’t know what Infusionsoft is, it is a contact management program that is kinda like Constant Contact on steroids. I highly recommend you look into getting it, and then call me so I can set you up with someone who can help you use it properly. It is not the most user-friendly program, but it is absolutely the best out there, so when you are serious and ready to do high level marketing, you must have this program.
Back to what I was saying. Once they are in my Dream Program database, I can then market to them, and I do, by providing my weekly and monthly newsletters.
Since I initiated this program in June, 2018, I have over 900 new contacts. They all get an auto-response email telling them that if I can help them I will, but that unfortunately I can’t help everyone, so, unfortunately, if they don’t hear from me within a week, I’m probably not going to be able to provide help. I thank them for reaching out to me and sharing their dreams.
Many of them tell me that they really don’t have any specific dream, but that they just wanted to let me know how wonderful it is what I’m doing, and thanking me.
